Triple DES

In cryptography, Triple DES (3DES or TDES), officially the Triple Data Encryption Algorithm (TDEA or Triple DEA), is a symmetric-keyblock cipher, which applies the Data Encryption Standard (DES) cipher algorithm three times to each data block.
