Swinomish people

The Swinomishpeople ( ; Lushootseed: swədəbš) are a Lushootseed-speaking people Indigenous to western Washington state. The tribe lives in the southeastern part of Fidalgo Island in northern Puget Sound, near the San Juan Islands, in Skagit County, Washington.
