The Soyombo script (Mongolian: Соёмбо бичиг, ᠰᠣᠶᠤᠩᠪᠤ ᠪᠢᠴᠢᠭ𑪁𑩖𑩻𑩖𑪌𑩰𑩖 𑩰𑩑𑩢𑩑𑪊‎, romanized: Soyombo bichig, lit.'self-created holy letters') is an abugida invented by the MongolianBuddhist monkZanabazar in 1686 to write Mongolian.
