Rohini (wife of Vasudeva)

In Hindu mythology, Rohini (Sanskrit: रोहिणी, lit.'Ascending', IAST: Rohiṇī) was the first consort of Vasudeva , and the mother of the Hindu deities Balarama and Subhadra. She plays a prominent role in the upbringing of Krishna.
