Pan-African orogeny

The Pan-African orogeny was a series of major Neoproterozoicorogenic events which related to the formation of the supercontinentsGondwana and Pannotia about 600 million years ago. This orogeny is also known as the Pan-Gondwanan or Saldanian Orogeny.
