José Matías Moreno

José Matías Moreno II (1819–1869) was a Mexican merchant, landowner, and public official in 19th-century Alta and Baja California. He served as secretary of state of Alta California under the last Mexican governor, Pío Pico, during the final months of Mexican rule.
