Fort Paskoya

Fort Paskoya (or Paskoyac or Pasquia) was a French fort and trading post on the lower Saskatchewan River above Cedar Lake. It was named after a Cree word for 'narrows', or after the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, whom the explorers encountered.
