Bakhtiari people

The Bakhtiari (Persian: بختیاری, romanized: Bakhtyārī; also spelled Bakhtiyari) are a Lur tribe from the western half of Iran. They speak the Bakhtiari dialect, a sub-branch of the Luri language closely related to Classical Persian.
