Ayalon Valley

The Ayalon Valley (Hebrew: אַיָּלוֹן or איילון, ʾAyyālōn), also written Aijalon and Ajalon, is a valley in the lowland of the Shephelah in Israel. The Ayalon Valley has been an important route connecting the coastal plain and Jerusalem for generations.
