Akram al-Hourani

Akram Al-Hourani (Arabic: أكرم الحوراني, romanized: ʾAkram al-Ḥurānī, also transcribedEl-Hourani, Howrani or Hurani) (November 1911 – 24 February 1996), was a Syrianpolitician who played a prominent role during the democratic era of Syria in the 1950s, he established and led the Arab Socialist Party.
