Aiguilles Rouges

The Aiguilles Rouges (French pronunciation:, "Red Needles") are a crystalline mountainous massif of the French Prealps, opposite the Mont Blanc Massif. The colour of the iron-rich gneiss (metamorphic) mountains gives the range its name.
