Ahal Region (Turkmen: Ahal welaýaty, IPA: [ɑˈχɑːɫ βeˌɫɑːjɑˈtɯ]) is one of five provinces of Turkmenistan. It borders Iran and Afghanistan along the Kopet Dag range.
