The order given name(s), family name is commonly known as the Western name order and is usually used in European countries and in non-European countries that have cultures predominantly influenced by Western Europe (e.g. the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand). It is also used in non-Western regions such as Northern, Eastern, Central and Western India; Pakistan; Bangladesh; Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand; Saudi Arabia; Singapore; Malaysia (most of, non-traditional); and the Philippines.
