Formations
The Puye Formation of the Santa Fe Group consists largely of debris eroded off the Tschicoma Formation. It contains 25 pyroclastic flows, including pumiceous ignimbrites and block and ash flows, erupted by vents of the Tschicoma Formation. Erosion has denuded the Tschicoma Formation domes of these units.
