PF (firewall)

PF (Packet Filter, also written pf) is a BSD licensedstatefulpacket filter, a central piece of software for firewalling. It is comparable to netfilter (iptables), ipfw, and ipfilter.

PF was developed for OpenBSD, but has been ported to many other operating systems.
