Oakland Arena

Oakland Arena, often referred to as the Oakland Coliseum Arena, is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Oakland, California, United States, and one of two venues within the Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum Complex.

Opened in 1966, the Oakland Arena was originally the location of the California Seals of the Western Hockey League (WHL), later of the National Hockey League (NHL), until their move to Cleveland in 1976.

The arena served as home to the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1971 to 2019, excluding a period of extensive renovations during the 1996–97 NBA season.
