It was formerly a census-designated place (CDP) and in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of Sugar Land, in unincorporatedFort Bend County. It was annexed into Sugar Land on December 12, 2017. The population was 15,186 at the 2010 census, up from 13,861 at the 2000 census.
