Moonstone (gemstone)

Moonstone is a sodiumpotassiumaluminiumsilicate ((Na,K)AlSi₃O₈) of the feldspar group that displays a pearly and opalescentschiller. An alternative name for moonstone is hecatolite (from goddess Hecate).
