Nicknamed "the Gentle", Suljović reached his first PDC major televised final in 2016, finishing as the runner-up at the European Championship. He won his first TV title at the 2017 Champions League of Darts, defeating Gary Anderson in the final. He finished as the runner-up at the 2018 World Matchplay. Suljović has also won a total of 7 PDC titles in his professional career, including 3 titles on the PDC European Tour.
He previously participated in British Darts Organisation (BDO) and World Darts Federation (WDF) tournaments, winning 7 titles. He reached the quarter-finals at the World Masters in 2001 and the last 16 at the 2002 BDO World Championship.
Suljović was runner-up at the PDC World Cup of Darts in both 2021 and 2024, partnering Rowby-John Rodriguez for Austria and has been ranked as the number one Austrian player in the PDC, but he does not actually hold Austrian citizenship.
