Horsens Municipality

Horsens Municipality (Danish: Horsens Kommune) is a municipality (Danish: kommune) in Region Midtjylland on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality includes the island of Endelave, and covers an area of 515.2 km. It has a population of 98,806 (2026). Its mayor is Peter Sørensen, a member of the Social Democraticparty. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the city of Horsens.
