Middlesbrough Football Club is an association football club based in Middlesbrough, England. Formed in 1876, the club played at Linthorpe Road from 1880, and were first elected to the Football League in 1899. The club moved to Ayresome Park for the 1903–04 season, and would remain there for ninety-two years, moving to the Riverside Stadium in 1995.
