Enosis

Enosis (Greek: Ένωσις, IPA:, "union") was an irredentist ideology and political movement calling for the union of then British-ruled Cyprus with Greece. It was held among the island's Greek Cypriot majority and was associated with the campaign for Cypriotself-determination.
