Disposable email address

Disposable email addresses (DEAs) are unique email addresses employed for specific contacts or uses. The term may refer both to alias- or forwarding-based addresses and to temporary email addresses or temporary inboxes created for short-term use, often with a planned lifespan measured in minutes, such as 10 to 60 minutes.

This is primarily done so that if the email address becomes compromised or utilized in connection with email abuse, the address owner can easily cancel (or "dispose" of) it without affecting their other contacts.
