Devil Anse Hatfield

William Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield (; September 9, 1839 – January 6, 1921) was an American military officer who was the patriarch of the Hatfield family, whom he led in the Hatfield–McCoy feud. He previously served in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War.
