He competes part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 67 Toyota Camry XSE for 23XI Racing, as a development driver for 23XI and part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the Nos. 1 and 5 Toyota Tundra TRD Pros for Tricon Garage.

Heim is the 2025 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion.
