Constant-speed propellers

A constant-speed propeller is a type of variable-pitch propeller designed to automatically change its blade pitch while maintaining a set rotational speed, regardless of the operational conditions of the aircraft. This is achieved by use of a constant-speed unit (CSU), or propeller governor, built integral to the propeller hub.
