Bengaluru South district, is one of the 31districts of Karnataka state in southern India. Ramanagara City is the administrative headquarters of this district. The district is part of Bengaluru Mysore Infrastructure Corridor. The district was created as Ramanagara district in 2007 by splitting away from Bangalore Rural district, and renamed Bengaluru South district on 23 May 2025.
