Banitsa (ruins)

Banitsa (Greek: Καρυαί; Bulgarian and Macedonian: Баница) is an abandoned village in Serres regional unit, Greece. The ruins lie about 15 km northeast of Serres, near the village Oreini, on the southern slopes of the Vrontous mountains.
