Boloristan

Bolor or Boloristan was the ancient name of the region roughly corresponding to present-day Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral in Pakistan, stretching from Kafiristan in east to Ladakh to the west. The name continued to be used in one form or other until 18th-century.
