The 1958–59 Minneapolis Lakers season was the 11th season for the franchise in the NBA.
Finishing 2nd in the West with a 33–39 record, the Lakers returned to the playoffs. They beat the Detroit Pistons in three games of the West Semifinals and then the St. Louis Hawks in six games of the West Finals, advancing to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1954. However, they were swept by the Boston Celtics in four games in their penultimate season in Minnesota.
