On 1 August 2009, the vice-president of
Terek Grozny Khaidar Alhanov, announced the arrival from
Maccabi Netanya of Haimovich. He signed a three-year deal worth $1.3m and became the second Israeli player to ever compete in the Russian League, after
Idan Shum.
Return to Israel
On 18 July 2012, Haimovich returned to play in Israel by signing at
Hapoel Tel Aviv for two years.
