features a lighted parade as well as various other activities. Th

features a parade, street dance, a sand volleyball tournament, the crowning of Miss Winsted, and various other activities. Winsted is also home to Winstock Country Music Festival. The proceeds from the music festival support the Holy Trinity Catholic school system. In 2017, a new annual event came to Winsted that takes place on the Winstock Country Music Festival grounds called the Land Castle Summer Extravaganza. The Land Castle Summer Extravaganza is the largest ice fishing event of the summer. This event features ice fish house camping, music, vendors, information seminars, food, and more. This event is advertised as family friendly.


Education

There are two school systems in Winsted. The Howard Lake–Waverly–Winsted school district is the public school system which operates Winsted Elementary. The Catholic school system is made up of Holy Trinity High School, Holy Trinity Elementary School, and Tiny Trojans pre-school.
