Washington's 7th Legislative District

Washington's 7th legislative district is one of 49 electoral district, districts in Washington (state), Washington for representation in the Washington State Legislature, state legislature. The district is in the extreme northeast of the state and borders Canada's British Columbia on the north and Idaho on the east. It includes all of Douglas County, Washington, Douglas, Ferry County, Washington, Ferry, Okanogan County, Washington, Okanogan, Pend Oreille County, Washington, Pend Orielle, and Stevens County, Washington, Stevens counties, along with portions of Grant County, Washington, Grant and Spokane County, Washington, Spokane counties. An earlier redistricting proposal from 2021 would have divided Okanogan County between the 7th and 13th districts.

The largely rural district is represented by Shelly Short in the state senate and state representatives Jacquelin Maycumber (Washington State Republican Party, R-pos. 1) and Joel Kretz (Washington State Republican Party, R-pos. 2).
