History

Documentary of the existence of the village is available from the beginning of the fourteenth century. A document from 1309 mentioned the existence of an archdeacon in Valea Lungă, and identified Arnold Longavalle as priest of this village. In the 14th century, the village is also mentioned several times in historical documents. In 1322, Karol Robert, King of Hungary, donated the village of Valea Lungă with the village
