Unterägeri has an area, , of . Of this area, 37.1% is used for agricultural purposes, while 54.3% is forested. Of the rest of the land, 6.7% is settled (buildings or roads) and the remainder (1.8%) is non-productive (rivers, glaciers or mountains).
