A 3x3x3 technique that became mainstream because of him is "pseudoslotting," a combination of multislotting, and keyhole. As of June 3, 2025, Kolasiński has won 406 total events in World Cube Association competitions.

He became the Pyraminx world champion at the 2019 WCA World Championship, finishing with an average of 2.40 seconds. On December 19, 2021, at Cubers Eve Lubartów 2021, Kolasiński achieved an average of 5.09 seconds, breaking Max Park’s 3x3x3 world record average of 5.32 seconds.
