Treasure Lake is located in the northwestern corner of Clearfield County at (41.168088, -78.721111). It is an unincorporated community within Sandy Township and is bordered to the north by Jefferson and

counties. The city of DuBois is by road south of the center of the community. The Treasure Lake community is built around two reservoirs. In the center is Treasure Lake, a water body with three outlets: Wolf Run to the northwest, a tributary of Narrows Creek to the east, and Gravel Lick Run to the south.
