At the 2000 census, there were 468 people, 177 households, and 138 families living in the borough. The population density was . There were 182 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the borough was 96.79% White, 0.85% Asian, 0.21% from other races, and 2.14% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.50%. There were 177 households, 33.9% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 69.5% were married couples living together, 6.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.0% were non-families. 16.9% of households were made up of individuals, and 7.9% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.64 and the average family size was 3.01. The age distribution was 27.1% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 21.6% from 25 to 44, 33.5% from 45 to 64, and 14.5% 65 or older. The median age was 44 years.
