On January 27, 2025, the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) declared that both Chinese and foreign journalists would be permitted to attend the interviews at that time. On February 12, 2025, the General Office of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPCSC) and the Working Committee of NPCSC Representatives conducted a briefing session for NPC deputies in Beijing to facilitate their participation in the 2025 National People's Congress.
