The translation is praised and recommended by Fetullah Gülen in his introduction to the work. In ''Islam & Science'', Waleed Bleyhesh al-Amri wrote that Ünal appeared to be "fully conversant with Qurʾānic scholarship, both classical and recent, and with the norms of writing
