National Player of the Year

Three Texas players have won national player of the year awards in five seasons. Texas is the only Division I program with three USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year awards.2017 Texas Softball Fact Book, p. 3 Pitcher Cat Osterman, who won the award all three times, is the only player in NCAA history to have won the award more than twice.
