. As a junior, he averaged 14.3 points and 5.2 assists per game, earning Second Team All-Conference honors. Lucas broke his leg during a game in February 2016, causing him to miss the rest of the season. He averaged 20.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 2.8 steals per game as a senior. College career

Lucas averaged 4.8 points and 3.1 assists per game as a freshman. As a sophomore, he averaged 5.7 points and 3.2 assists per game. On March 26, 2018, Lucas declared that he would transfer from Illinois. He announced he would transfer to
