Premise

It is the story of a mother, Pratima Mukherjee, and her daughter, Pari Mukherjee. When Pari is only 3 years old, she is kidnapped, leading to Pratima being separated from her daughter. For years, Pari is raised as a thief under the name Jhilik by her kidnapper. Circumstances eventually lead to Jhilik and Pratima meeting again after many years. The story then follows how Jhilik gradually accepts Pratima back into her life.
