Myddelton married firstly Mary Cholmondley, daughter of Thomas Cholmondley of Vale Royal, Cheshire, and secondly Jane Trevor, daughter of John Trevor of Denbighshire. He had five sons and was succeeded in the baronetcy by his eldest son
