Etymology and history

Until 1927, Siner was a part of Alikovskaya Volost of
Yadrinsky Uyezd Yadrinsky Uyezd (; ) was one of the subdivisions of the Kazan Governorate of the Russian Empire. It was situated in the western part of the governorate. Its administrative centre was Yadrin. Demographics At the time of the Russian Empire Census o ...
. On November 1, 1927, the village became a part of Alikovsky District. It was transferred to Vurnarsky District on December 20, 1962, but was returned to Alikovsky District on March 14, 1965.
