Administration
Simpang Renggam District Council (), formerly South Kluang District Council () is the local authority of Simpang Renggam. It also administers the southern half of Kluang region including the nearby towns of
Renggam and
Layang-Layang. The district council was formed in 1979 and relocated to Simpang Renggam in 1996.
