Shoaib Mohammad started his Test career in 1983 against India at Jalandhar, but he could not score much in this Test. He also managed to score only 9 runs in an innings. He scored 80 runs against England next year. At the end of the year, he scored 31/34 against New Zealand in Karachi. Scored his first century when he scored 101 runs.
