, United States. Its population was 3,499 at the 2020 census. It is the hometown of David Vetter, the famous "boy in the plastic bubble". In 1986, the Shenandoah city council renamed Tamina School Road to David Memorial Drive in honor of Vetter.

The racial makeup of the city was 89.1% White, 3.6% African American, 0.3% Native American, 3.1% Asian, 1.7% from other races, and 2.1% from two or more races. Of the 971 households, 20.0% had children under 18 living with them, 52.8% were married couples living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 34.1% were not families.
