It became a community school in 1983 after the opening of a new building and an additional expansion was, along with a new gym hall completed in September 2001. The school is run by a Board of Managers, which is composed of 10 trustees, teachers, and parents who have been elected to the Board. On 8 April 2016 enrollment was over 1000 students(with a roughly 50:50 ratio of boys and girls, aged 12 to 18) and a teaching staff of more than 70.
