Description
''S. scalariformis'' can be distinguished from ''S. harmulensis'', a closely related species, by possessing a multispiral protoconch and fewer axial ribs.
Distribution
This species occurs in the
Red Sea,
and in the Indian Ocean off
Tanzania and
Madagascar.
